To address this shift, Mercury has a directs and co-investments advisory practice in which we work with general partners, companies, fundless sponsor and others to structure and raise capital for separate accounts, co-investments, joint ventures and direct placements. Mercury has significant secondaries experience, spanning both secondary advisory and investment, providing us with a unique perspective in creating bespoke solutions. As well as our deep relationships with secondary investors, through our global distribution team we ensure the investor base is optimised not only for the transaction, but for the platform going forward. Our dedicated secondaries team provides customized solutions including advice on strategic options and structuring alternatives, optimal sales strategy and offerings, complete management of the sale process, assistance regarding negotiation of legal documents and closing.
