Sabina Sammartino is Partner and Head of Mercury Capital Advisors' Secondary Advisory team. During her twenty year career, Ms. Sammartino was Managing Director at Paul Capital, a global secondary private equity firm, where she was responsible for sourcing, structuring, evaluating, negotiating and closing a broad range of secondary private equity transactions. These included restructuring of alternative assets vehicles and structured fund interest portfolio sales. While at Paul Capital Ms. Sammartino originated and executed a complex transaction that was awarded Private Equity International Secondaries Deal of the Year for Europe. Previously Ms. Sammartino worked at General Electric where she held a number of positions, most recently as Executive Director at GE Equity in London, responsible for leading the origination, execution and management of private equity direct and fund investments. Ms. Sammartino also headed up the private equity investment team at BNL-BNP Paribas, where she was responsible for developing and implementing the bank’s private equity investment strategy. She received a Master’s degree in Business and Economics from University La Sapienza, Rome and graduated with honours from General Electric’s two-year Financial Management Programme. Ms Sammartino is a U.K. Financial Conduct Authority certified professional.
