MERCURY CAPITAL iFUNDS

Launched this year, iFunds provides the same $100,000 entry point to the Qualified Purchaser (QP)as its peers, but with a Wall Street tint. The firm markets its fund offerings via roadshows and makes available institutional-level analytics to encourage advisors to compare and benchmark its funds.

A sales orientation is hardly unique to iFunds, of course. What distinguishes the platform from other access platforms is the track record (in terms of both placements and fund performance) and relationship capital of its corporate parent. For now, it occupies a privileged niche between platform first movers like CAIS Group and Artivest, on the one hand, and buyout giants focused on selling their own funds.
